Behaviour Mentor - Waltham forest - September 2024- Secondary school - £90-£115 a day!

Currently, Teach 360 is working with an excellent school in order to recruit a Behaviour mentor who will be part of the staffing team and will bring new ideas and support to the behaviour team at the school. Ideally, a behaviour mentor should have experience working with challenging behaviour, either in a school setting or in a similar setting at work, for example.

Behaviour mentor who enjoys working with children with SEN, ASD and SEMH needs
Behaviour mentor who is a great role model to young people
Earn £80-£100 a day depending on experience
Behaviour mentor able to work Monday - Friday 8:30am - 4pm
Behaviour mentor who has strong behaviour management
Behaviour mentor who is a strong positive role model to young people
Behaviour Mentor who can think quickly on their feet

Do you have experience working with children who have special needs, autism spectrum disorders, or behavioural health issues?

Would you be interested in being a Behaviour Mentor and making a positive difference in the lives of students?

As a Behaviour Mentor, would you consider yourself if you have previous relevant work experience which would give you an advantage in this new role if you do have such work experience?

In your capacity as a Behaviour Mentor, do you have experience and the ability to interact with young people?

About the role - Behaviour mentor - Waltham Forest

There is an excellent opportunity for a Behaviour Mentor to work with a diverse range of students who have needs that relate to Special Educational Needs, Autism Spectrum Disorders, and other SEMH needs. As the Behaviour Mentor for the faculty, you will be acting as a positive role model for students in the school, and you will be able to represent the school as a positive role model. In order to be successful in this position, this individual must have a positive attitude and be passionate about helping children with special needs achieve their full potential. Being a successful Behaviour Mentor requires you to possess both patience and empathy in order to succeed in your role. Additionally, it would be desirable if you had experience working with children who have SEN, ASD, or SEMH conditions. For a candidate to be successful in this position, it is imperative that they be capable of working under pressure and be quick to react when situations rise as they arise, in order to be able to react as quickly as possible when the need arises. When you are planning to work with challenging behaviour, you need to have prior experience with this type of behaviour if you plan to work with it.
