Position: Behaviour Mentor
Pay: £85.50-£110 per day, depending on experience and assignment.

Start: ASAP, following registration and safeguarding checks.
Working pattern: Assignments matched to your availability and experience.Your Role as a Behaviour Mentor

As a Behaviour Mentor, you will support pupils whose social, emotional or behavioural needs affect their participation, following the school's agreed support plans.

Develop positive working relationships through regular contact and consistent expectations.
Help pupils prepare for lessons, manage transitions and practise positive peer interactions.
Use agreed regulation and de-escalation approaches, seeking staff support when needed.
Track engagement and share observations with teachers, SENCOs and pastoral colleagues.What We Are Looking For in a Behaviour Mentor

Experience supporting children or young people through mentoring, education, youth work or a related role.
A resilient Behaviour Mentor who listens well and maintains calm, predictable boundaries.
Good safeguarding awareness and the ability to follow plans without taking a punitive approach.
