Position Overview: As the Internal Suspension Manager/Behaviour Mentor, you will be at the forefront of managing internal suspension procedures and providing crucial behavioural support to students who have been excluded. Your immediate start will contribute to the ongoing development of a positive school culture and the successful reintegration of students into the mainstream academic setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Internal Suspension Oversight: Lead and manage internal suspension processes with a focus on maintaining a safe and respectful school environment.

Behavioural Mentorship: Provide targeted behavioural support and mentorship to students facing exclusion, employing STRONG behaviour management techniques.

Collaborative Approach: Work closely with teachers, parents, and external agencies to develop and implement effective intervention plans tailored to individual student needs.

Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed records of behavioural assessments, interventions, and outcomes

Immediate Reintegration Support: Facilitate the immediate reintegration of excluded students, implementing proactive strategies for a successful return to mainstream education.

Qualifications and Skills:

Proven experience in STRONG behaviour management within a secondary school setting.

Understanding of exclusion procedures, school policies, and regulations related to student conduct.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with students, staff, and parents.

Ability to implement immediate and impactful behavioural interventions.

Strong organizational skills with an emphasis on documentation and record-keeping.
