Location: Stockport

Salary: £90 to £119 per day
GSL Education are currently seeking a dedicated Behaviour and Learning Support Assistant for a reputable Secondary School in Stockport. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals passionate about supporting students' emotional and educational development in a school setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide targeted support to students with behavioural and learning needs, both in and out of the classroom.
Assist in the implementation of behaviour management strategies and interventions.
Support students in accessing the curriculum and engaging in learning activities.
Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and other professionals to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
Monitor and record student progress and behaviour, providing feedback to relevant stakeholders.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Previous experience working with children or young people, preferably in an educational setting.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
Understanding of behaviour management techniques and strategies.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
Knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
