We are seeking a Network Design Engineer/Network Designer to join our Global IT Services Company in a permanent position. The role will be based in Basingstoke, Hampshire, UK (5 days on-site).

Responsibilities & Skills:

Network design (HLD & LLD)
Network solution prototyping
Configuring network devices
Previous experience with Juniper SRX or Fortinet FortiGate
Previous experience Cisco routing and switching devices
Demonstrable understanding of OSPF, EIGRP and BGP routing protocols.
Demonstrable understanding of NAT, GRE Tunnelling protocol, DMVPN Tunnelling Protocol, Subnetting & Supernetting.
Previous troubleshooting and support experience.
Network implementation in an offline environment
The successful applicant will be a Network Design Engineer/Network Designer, joining the existing Network Solution Build team.
The successful Network Design Engineer/Network Designer will work closely with the Solution Owner and Architects to assist with the instantiating of design documentation, on a wide variety of network solutions, varying in size and complexity.A national security clearance is required for this role so candidates must either hold this level of clearance or be willing to achieve this.
