Advising banks, lenders and financial institutions on litigation and dispute resolution matters.

Handling secured debt recovery proceedings and associated legal processes.

Preparing and drafting court documents, pleadings and legal correspondence.

Negotiating settlements and working towards commercially effective resolutions.

Attending court hearings and client meetings where appropriate.

Building strong working relationships with clients and colleagues.

Working collaboratively with senior solicitors and other members of the litigation team.

About You

NQ status or relevant post-qualification experience.

Exposure to litigation, dispute resolution, banking litigation or debt recovery, either during a training contract or in a qualified role.

Strong drafting, legal research and analytical skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

A proactive, organised and commercially minded approach.

The ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively within a team.

A genuine interest in developing specialist expertise in banking and financial litigation.
