We are recruiting an exciting opportunity for a Residential Bank Support Worker, to join a strong and supportive children’s residential company in Cambridgeshire.

JOB TITLE: Bank Residential Support Worker, Cambridgeshire
SALARY: £11.68 - £12.09 per hour (dependent on experience) + sleep-ins (£50 per night) + benefits
ABOUT THE ROLE:

Additional training, coaching, and mentoring is provided to help you grow with the role, with regular support from experienced managers.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES IN BRIEF:
* Ensuring that all children and young people have their needs met and are safeguarded from harm, neglect, abuse or exploitation.
* Responding to any child care concerns appropriately.
* Ensuring that the building, equipment and furniture is well maintained.
* Working effectively and can co-ordinate with social workers, parents/guardians and other connected professional agencies.
IDEAL CRITERIA:
* Previous experience working within residential childcare, or similar environment
* Strong understanding of safeguarding responsibilities
* Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care or be willing to work towards this (with the company’s full support)
* Full UK driving licence (essential)
* Willingness to be flexible, including shift patterns and sleep-ins
