Are you a Psychologist seeking a new LOCUM challenge? Do you have previous experience working with children suffering with eating disorders?

Service Care Solutions are recruiting for a Band 8b Clinical Psychologist for a LOCUM contract supporting Herefordshire And Worcestershire Health And Care NHS Trust. The successful candidate will provide psychological support as part of the CAMHS Community Eating Disorder service. The contract will run for an initial period of 3 months with the likelihood of extension.

Job Purpose: Band 8b Clinical

Pay Rate: £40.00 LTD p/h + £250 SCS Sign-Up Bonus

Location: Worcestershire

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:00

Contract: 37.5 hours per week (Flexible)

Key Responsibilities:

Assessment and Diagnosis: Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and diagnoses for children and adolescents suffering from eating disorders, utilizing a variety of clinical tools and techniques.
Treatment Planning and Implementation: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on each patient's specific needs, incorporating evidence-based psychological therapies and interventions.
Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals within the CAMHS Community Eating Disorder service, contributing to multidisciplinary meetings and case discussions to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
Monitoring and Evaluation: Regularly monitor and evaluate the progress of patients, adapting treatment plans as necessary, and provide detailed reports on patient outcomes and service effectiveness.
Training and Supervision: Provide clinical supervision and training to junior psychologists, interns, and other healthcare staff, ensuring adherence to professional standards and enhancing the overall quality of psychological services within the Trust.
Requirements

HCPC Registration
Clinical/counselling Psychology Doctorate or equivalent
