Location: HMP Downview / HMP Highdown
Salary: £43,742 - £50,056 per annum

What you will be doing
This role is based on site at both HMP Highdown and HMP Downview where there is opportunity for flexible working on a rota basis. The role is based within the substance misuse service. You would be working as part of a wider healthcare team with a mixture of psychosocial and clinical interventions. There are many opportunities to develop new skills and this role is ideal for nurses seeking to broaden their knowledge and understanding of caring for high-risk adults often with complex needs. We emphasise good collaborative working across teams and encourage learning and development within the team.
The service is delivered 7 days a week with flexible working on a rota basis.

Essential criteria for this role:
* NMC registered (active NMC pin)
* NMP qualification
* Driven to provide high quality clinical assessment and treatment
* Ability to work with vulnerable adults presenting complex needs
As we recognise this role is advertised as full time, we would also consider part time applications.
