Description:
Brook Street is seeking a Legal Assistant for a period of at least 6 months with possible extension in Belfast City Centre.
Our public sector client would like someone with at least one year`s experience and GCSE Maths & English or equivalent and two A levels or equivalent to work in their busy Legal team.
The post holder will be responsible for the carrying out of duties in support of the solicitors undertaking their professional roles.
The hours of work are (Apply online only), Monday to Friday (37.5 hours per week).
Duties will include preparation of documents and pleadings, briefs for Counsel, maintenance of up to date statistics and information on the Legal Information System, liaise and correspond with clients as required.
You will be proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word. Candidates must have four GCSEs at grade C and above or have a year`s experience of working within an administrative or clerical role.
The rate of pay is £11.67 per hour and is paid on a weekly basis
