o Minimum one year`s experience in Administration.
o GCSE Maths and English or equivalent qualification.
Key Responsibilities:
" The post holder will be required to work with the departmental computerised system: Radiology Information System (RIS).
" Ensure that all referrals received in the department are processed in line with protocols to ensure timely prioritisation (red flag, urgent and routine).
" Maintain the RIS waiting list and arrange appointments ensuring that diagnostic waiting time targets are not breached.
" Ensure that clinical capacity is utilised to the optimum level through the monitoring of all available appointment slots.
" Work closely with Modality Leads to identify any capacity problems.
" Understand the flow of patient information within the Trust and the importance of accurate recording on RIS.
" Deal appropriately with correspondence and telephone calls from wards, departments, General Practitioners and patients.
" Undertake clerical tasks related to the service.
" Reception duties as required
Working Hours:
o Band 3: Monday to Friday 9am to 5 pm. Rate of pay £11.67 per hour
