We are seeking a dynamic individual with a BA Hons Education or BA Hons Early Childhood degree to join our team as a Teaching Assistant. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting our students within our SEND and SEMH setting across Cheshire. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a positive impact on the educational journey of young individuals.
Role; Full Time Teaching Assistant
Start Date: 22nd April 2024
Contract: Full-time, Long-term contract
Responsibilities:
-Assist in the delivery of tailored educational programs to meet the diverse needs of students with SEND and SEMH.
-Provide one-on-one support and small group instruction to students, fostering academic growth and personal development.
-Collaborate with teachers and support staff to create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
-Build strong relationships with students, promoting confidence and self-esteem.
-Assist in the implementation of behaviour management strategies and interventions.
-Support students in developing essential life skills to enhance their overall well-being and future prospects.
Requirements:
-BA Hons Education or BA Hons Early Childhood degree.
-Passion for making a difference in students' educational journeys.
-Understanding of the importance of providing both academic and life skills education.
-Effective communication skills and ability to build rapport with students and colleagues.
-Commitment to promoting inclusivity and diversity within the educational setting.
-Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
