AWS Engineer-  Platform resilience & Hardening (SRE) | £(Apply online only) InsideIR35 | 6 Month contract | 1 day per week Cirencester
 
We are looking for an experienced AWS Engineer with experience in platform hardening, resilience engineering, backup strategy and SRE. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with AWS storage services and AWS Backup or other enterprise SaaS-based backup products.

Key responsibilities:

Hands-on experience in AWS engineering, SRE or cloud platform roles
Strong knowledge of AWS resilience, availability, backup and recovery services
Experience with AWS Resilience Hub, AWS Backup, S3, EBS, EFS, FSx and related storage technologies
Experience or active interest in chaos testing, failure injection, operational resilience testing, or cyber resilience
Understanding of disaster recovery, RTO/RPO, high availability and workload recovery patterns
Exposure to third-party backup SaaS products
Financial Services or other high availability sector experience ideal
