Location: Battle, East Sussex (covering Kent, Sussex, Surrey, London and occasionally nationwide)

Salary/Rate: Competitive – dependent on experience

Old Barn Audio Visual (OBAV) is a specialist AV integrator delivering high-quality audio, video, control and networking solutions across commercial, education, hospitality, places of worship and residential sectors.

Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Audio Visual Engineer to join our team.

Essential Requirements

* Minimum 5 years' experience within the Audio Visual industry

* Strong installation and commissioning experience

* Excellent understanding of audio systems.

* Experience installing and configuring commercial AV systems

* Good networking knowledge.

* Full UK Driving Licence

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

* High attention to detail and pride in delivering exceptional workmanship

Desirable Experience

* Symetrix programming and commissioning

* Control4 installation and programming

* Commercial audio systems

* Video distribution systems

* Networked AV solutions

* Hearing loop systems

* Wireless microphone systems

* Rack building and cable management

* System fault finding and diagnostics

* Lighting control and automation systems

* Be highly organised and methodical

* Have excellent cable management and rack-building skills

* Be confident commissioning and fault-finding systems

* Be capable of representing the company professionally on client sites

Working Areas

Our office is based in Battle, East Sussex, however our projects are located throughout Kent, Sussex, Surrey and London, with occasional work further afield across the UK. Some overnight stays may be required on larger projects, with accommodation and reasonable expenses covered.
