Skills Development Tutor – Automotive & IQA
Salary: Up to £35,000 per year
Location: Greater Manchester – Hybrid
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Are you an experienced Automotive professional with a passion for teaching, coaching and developing others?
We have a fantastic opportunity and looking for a Skills Development Tutor specialising in Automotive and Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) to join a growing education and skills team.
You’ll work with learners across a range of programmes, helping them develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours they need to progress in their careers.
The Role
* Manage and support your own learner caseload.
* Deliver engaging face-to-face and blended learning.
* Plan and develop high-quality learning materials.
* Assess and provide constructive feedback on learner work.
* Track learner progress and provide support where needed.
* Support internal quality assurance and continuous improvement.
* Maintain your own industry knowledge and professional development.
About You
We’re looking for someone with:
* 5+ years' vocational Automotive industry experience
* 1–2 years' teaching, learning and assessment experience
* Relevant professional/industry qualifications.
* Experience working within quality and Ofsted standards.
* A Diploma in Education and Training (DET) or equivalent, or a willingness to work towards one.
* Strong communication, coaching and learner engagement skills.
* Confidence using Microsoft Office and digital learning platforms.
