Description:
Are you an experienced lighting engineer with experience gained in automotive lighting? ASL Technical are now working with a leading manufacturer as they look to expand their exterior trim design department with an experience exterior lighting engineer.
Main Purpose of Automotive Exterior Lighting Engineer
Development of exterior lighting systems to meet the design/performance and styling intention.
Design release of parts on time and on budget.
Supplier management including design, test, quality and timing to achieve key project milestones.
Clear and concise reporting of concerns and part development/delivery issues.
Automotive Exterior Lighting Engineer Opportunity
The person will be expected to carry out design activities related to innovative technologies / cost optimisation / break through ideas related to BEV (Battery EV) vehicles – focusing on future vehicles as well as current production.
Managing in-development parts and suppliers to meet quality, cost and delivery targets.
Bill Of Materials management
Requirements for the Automotive Exterior Lighting Engineering role
Degree level qualification in engineering such as mechanical, electrical, automotive, or aerospace.
Experience in exterior lighting system design.
