Automation Systems Engineer (Contract - 6 Months with Potential Extension)
Location: Remote with occasional on-site travel
Contract Duration: 6 Months (with potential extension)
Are you a self-driven and enthusiastic Automation Systems Engineer looking for your next exciting challenge? We have an incredible opportunity for a motivated professional to join our client's dynamic team on a 6-month contract, with the potential for extension.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop Ignition SCADA applications independently and effectively.
Utilize Modbus communication protocols for seamless integration and control.
Provide comprehensive client support both on-site and remotely, with occasional travel to client sites as required.
Participate in commissioning processes to ensure the successful deployment of automation systems.Desired Skills and Experience:
Proven experience working as an Automation Engineer.
Strong ability to design Ignition SCADA applications without supervision.
Solid understanding and experience with Modbus communication.
Scripting and Python experience is highly desirable but not essential.
Previous experience in commissioning automation systems.
Experience in mission-critical environments is essential; data centre experience is a plus.
An EU passport is advantageous but not mandatory.What We Offer:
