Automation SCADA Engineer
Location: Newport, South Wales
Salary: £40k-£70k + Bonus + Pension
Automation SCADA Engineer required by a successful engineering company delivering complex process automation projects across the UK and internationally!
This is a varied, hands-on role working across the full project lifecycle, from requirements and system design through PLC/SCADA development, testing and commissioning to final handover. You'll work on technically interesting automation projects rather than being tied to the maintenance of a single site.
Essential:
* 3+ years PLC/SCADA programming experience
* Dairy industry automation experience
* Siemens, Allen Bradley, ABB 800xA, Schneider/Modicon, Mitsubishi, Wonderware and/or WinCC
* Experience of testing and commissioning automation systems
* Strong customer communication skills
Nice to have:
* ISA S88 and/or S95
* FDS writing
* MES experience
* Experience delivering projects from design through to commissioning
