This company is a leading FMCG manufacturer with production facilities across the whole of the UK. You will be joining a large site employing over 200 people and with very forthcoming NetZero initiatives. You will be joining an established engineering team who operate with 4 different shift teams.

Person Requirements for the Automation Engineer:
* Recognised Automation Engineering qualification e.g. HNC/HND/ONC/OND/NVQ L3
* Minimum 3 years industry experience
* In depth knowledge of production processes, plants and machinery.
* Applied knowledge automated process equipment and control systems
* Experience of working to high level of regulation.
* Knowledge of rules and procedures relating to safety, quality, food safety, GMP, hygeine and environmental protection.
* Experience working with packaging machines
Job Requirements for the Automation Engineer:
Working as an Automation Engineer, you will be contributing to the preventative maintenance plan by developing medium and long term solutions to deects.
* Management of all site automation equipment including PLC’s, invertors, WinCC SCADA & HMI, servers and more
* Leading site automation engineering agenda including IT and operational technology
* General maintenance of management systems
* Set-up, monitor, adjust, prepare planned/predictive maintenance schedule
* Ensuring all technical documentation is up to date for the engineers
* Working with site hardware and software
