We have an exciting opportunity for an Automation Engineer to join our growing automation business. With our expanding business and cutting-edge product developments, we need someone with a passion for automation to join us at our headquarters.
In this role, you'll thrive in a vibrant and fast-paced environment where you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact both internally and for our valued customers. As an Automation Engineer, you'll be instrumental in providing technical support across a range of automation products (control systems, vision inspection & motion systems, electrical drive systems). Additionally, you'll play an important role in the deployment and enhancement of our innovative robotic solutions.
Working closely with a team of professionals, you'll be responsible for delivering technical support, offering application advice, conducting product demonstrations, and occasionally providing on-site assistance. Collaboration is key, as you'll liaise with our system integrators to ensure seamless implementation of our solutions.
Automation Engineer Requirements:
* Provide technical support and application advice to customers and colleagues.
* Conduct product demonstrations to showcase our solutions.
* Expand and support our network of system integrators.
* Assist in the rollout and maintenance of new robotic solutions.
* Occasionally provide on-site customer support.
Automation Engineer Skills & Experience:
* A degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
* Experience in PLCs, HMIs, servos, and inverters.
* Programming experience of PLCs, ideally Omron, Mitsubishi, Allen Bradley/Rockwell, although we will consider candidates with other PLC system experience.
* Knowledge of motion control is advantageous.
* Strong communication skills, both interpersonal and presentational, are essential,
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Proficiency in IT is a must.
* While you'll primarily be based at our headquarters, occasional travel may be necessary.
* Comprehensive support and training will be provided.
