Key Activities
* Reporting to the BL4 Reliability Manager, you will be responsible for the upkeep and general reliability of the PLC & SCADA systems across the site on which you will be based.
* The role is a varied one and covers everything from the field I/O through to the automation software the systems run on. The successful applicant therefore will require a good working knowledge of Allen Bradley PLC’s, the Allen Bradley FTView SE SCADA system, PanelViews, Ethernet/IP devices (such as VSD’s, Point/IO, Servo systems), ThinClient technology, and Ethernet networking.
Qualifications & experience
* Controls/Automation Engineering background
* PLC Programming and SCADA experience experience within Alan Bradley
* Worked within manufacturing or similar
* Academic qualifications of HND ideal, potentially a degree in engineering
