A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Automation Engineer to join a UK known food manufacturer in the Somerset Area!
With no day ever being the same the Automation Engineer role offers genuine long-term progression and career development within a first-class organisation.
Role & Responsibilities:
Maintenance and development of PLC Systems and SCADA Systems.
Maintaining current functioning control systems.
Enhance the SCADA system by creating Dot Net, ActiveX and .dll programs
System updates and firmware updates.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
Good working knowledge of IT networking - NAT, ACL's
Conversant with Rockwell control Logix plc's and SCADA Systems
Experience in Windows programming
Knowledge of VMWare vSphere virtualization
