JOB – Automation Engineer
LOCATION – Peterborough
TERM - Permanent
SALARY – Competitive depending on experience
My client, a Peterborough based manufacturing company are looking for an Automation Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.
The Automation Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:
HNC or equivalent Electrical Engineering qualifications or relevant discipline.
Previous experience with Control Systems in an industrial/ manufacturing setting.
Good software knowledge – Siemens, Allen Bradley etc.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.The Automation Engineer’s duties will involve:
Development of control systems from specification through to testing & commissioning.
Providing support to other engineers when required & working closely with Project Managers to ensure everything is to customer standards.
Maintaining documentation.
Ensuring budgets are met.
Ensuring health & safety standards are met at all times.
