Automation Engineer - Programming, Commissioning & Support
Automation Engineer required to join a cutting-edge provider of automated palletising products.
As the successful Automation Engineer you will be responsible for programming, commissioning and implementing software, with 80% travel to customer sites.
The Package:
Salary - £30,000 - £55,000 (DOE)

The Role:
To be responsible for programming and commissioning of our systems
To assist with customer support visits and calls
To meet agreed deadlines for commissioning of equipment and systems
Carry out full system commissioning which can include software, mechanical and electrical competence
Carry out site installation, software integration and commissioning
Deliver customer training
Offer technical support both remotely and on site for engineers and clients
Carry out routine service and maintenance visits
Requirements:
Experience with programming PLC's for automated machinery
Experience with creating electrical designs for machinery
Experience with commissioning machinery
Electrical training and qualification
KUKA robot programming training and experience
Clean driving license
Must prepared to be on an 'on call' Rota for 24/7 support (additional pay for this)
