V7 Recruitment is looking for an experienced Automatic Door & Roller Shutter Engineer for a long-term subcontract opportunity covering Nottingham and the wider East Midlands.

We’re looking for a multi-skilled engineer with experience across automatic doors, roller shutters and associated entrance systems who is confident carrying out service, maintenance, fault finding and reactive repairs.

There is a strong pipeline of work available, with the opportunity for consistent Monday-to-Friday subcontract work on a long-term basis.

The Role
Service and maintenance of automatic doors
Service and repair of roller shutters
Reactive call-outs and fault finding
Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults
PPM and scheduled maintenance
Minor repairs and remedial works
Working across a variety of commercial and public-sector sites
Completing service reports and relevant documentation
Managing your own workload across the East MidlandsContract Details
£35.00 – £40.00 per hour depending on experience
Outside IR35
Long-term subcontract opportunity
Initial 6-month rolling contract
Monday to Friday
Consistent workload
Nottingham & wider East Midlands
Overtime opportunities

Previous experience as an Automatic Door, Industrial Door or Roller Shutter Engineer
Strong service and maintenance background
Confident fault finding independently
Good electrical and mechanical knowledge
ADSA and/or DHF qualifications highly desirable
Full UK Driving Licence
Own tools and suitable vehicle
Able to work across Nottingham and the wider East MidlandsThis would suit an Automatic Door Engineer, Roller Shutter Engineer, Industrial Door Engineer, Entrance Systems Engineer or Multi-Skilled Automation Engineer looking for consistent long-term subcontract work.
