Auto Electrician
Location: Stocksbridge, South Yorkshire
Shift Pattern: Monday-Thursday 07:30-17:00 + Friday 08:00-12:30 OR Tuesday-Friday 07:00-17:15
Pay Rate: £12.50 p/h
Umbrella Rate: £14.25 p/h
Employment Type: Temp to Perm
Igloo are on the lookout for Auto Electricians to join our client’s team in Stocksbridge. Our client is one of the UK’s leading automotive and transport companies, with operations across the country.
The Role:
Successful candidates will be working on light commercial vehicles where their key responsibilities will be:
* Production of wiring looms, control panels.
* Installation of wiring looms, control panels.
* Installation of various automotive accessories such as reverse alarms/sensors, beacons.
* Maintain cleanliness of immediate work area.
* Assisting in other departments as required.
* Some work required off site.
* Ensure Health & Safety requirements are met.
What kind of person we are looking for?
Successful candidates must have the below skills and attributes:
* You will be able to read Wiring Diagrams/Schematics.
* A Qualification in Auto Electrics or automotive industry (NVQ Level 3 preferred).
* A flexible, positive attitude.
* The ability to work well as part of a team.
* Initiative and drive to produce first class work, each and every time
