Office based, permanent role.

There is travel and work on clients’ sites involved, remote working would be considered for the right person.

Hours 8.45am – 5pm Monday to Friday

Hawk 3 Talent Solutions are looking for an experienced Accountancy Practice Auditor to join a small firm based in Lancaster, Lancashire

The Role

This is a new role due to an increase in clients. You will report to the Directors of the company and work in a team of 12.

An experienced Auditor to join the team in Lancaster. The ideal candidate for this role will have a proven track record of working with small to medium-sized audit clients and have a strong understanding of audit principles and practices.

Mostly audit work on all size companies, some individual some parts of groups, some UK subsidiaries of overseas parents group companies

The successful candidate will demonstrate a high level of attention to detail, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as well as a commitment to delivering high-quality work in a timely manner.

Duties

-          Conducting audits of financial statements in accordance with audit standards

-          Reviewing and analyzing financial data and preparing audit reports

-          Providing recommendations for improving financial processes and controls

-          Communicating with clients to gather necessary information and explain audit findings

-          Collaborating with team members to ensure the successful completion of audits

-          Traveling to client sites as necessary to conduct audits

Skills/Knowledge

-          ACA, ACCA, or QBE qualified

-          Non-studier with experience working in a similar firm with small to medium audit clients

-          Proficient in driving with a valid driver's license and ability to travel as needed

-          Good communicator

-          Used to working in a fast paced role

-          Work to deadlines
