As Senior Accountant/Auditor your duties will include:
Leading audits including liaising with clients on-site to complete the work
Overseeing a team of 2-3 both on site and in the office
Planning of audits (ideal but not essential)
Preparing accounts on behalf of clients across the portfolio.
Inputting draft accounts onto the internal system.
Assisting in the preparation of year-end financial statements to clients.
Assisting staff with any ad-hoc accounting projects as required.
Helping to train/advise junior members of staff as required
Skills required:
Previous experience of working within an accounting role within practice or industry.
Quality organisational skills.
AAT/ACA/ACCA qualifications.
Bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, reconciling creditors.
Reconciliation of PAYE and VAT.
Processing and inputting VAT figures.
