TPF Recruitment is actively collaborating with our esteemed client in Eastbourne to source a dynamic Senior Auditor ready to take on new challenges. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced auditor to step into a pivotal role, overseeing and executing audit work previously managed by partners, while providing guidance and support to trainee team members.
Key Responsibilities:
Assume responsibility for audit work, ensuring a seamless transition from partners
Oversee and support the development of trainee team members
Play a crucial role in the audit process throughout the audit season
Undertake accounts work beyond the traditional audit season
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have relevant previous experience in a practice and will have completed their AAT, be studying toward the AAT, ACCA, or ACA, or be qualified by experience.
Strong experience within an accountancy practice carrying out accounts preparation, VAT and tax preparation.
2-4 years practical experience within an accountancy practice environment
Prior experience of audit would be advantageous but training is on offer.
