Description:
TPF Recruitment, the leading provider of accountancy practice professionals is currently supporting one of their clients located in Horsham who are actively looking for an Audit Senior to join their successful team.
As an Audit Senior to manage audits from planning to completion for a diverse client base. In this role, you will lead a team of auditors, provide training and mentorship to Audit Juniors, and collaborate closely with managers and partners to ensure technical compliance across portfolios. Additionally, you will gain exposure to account compilation and corporate tax returns.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Audit Management: Plan and complete audits for clients, ensuring assignments are executed efficiently in terms of cost and time.
Team Leadership: Supervise and coach junior team members on-site, ensuring the quality and accuracy of their work.
Client Liaison: Maintain effective communication with clients (including HMRC) and client partners regarding work assignments.
Compliance: Ensure meticulous adherence to audit procedures and control the preparation of audit and accounts work by junior staff.
Tax Computations: Draft corporation and income tax computations as part of your audit responsibilities.
Requirements
Qualifications: ACA / ACCA qualified or part-qualified with at least 2 years of prior audit experience.
Experience: Statutory audit experience in public practice and familiarity with ISA and UK GAAP.
Skills: Proficient in accounts compilation and drafting corporation tax computations. Strong client service, communication, organizational, and analytical skills. Attention to detail and accuracy are essential.
Desirable: Experience with ProAudit.
Travel: Willingness to travel frequently to client offices.

Salary: £40,000 - £46,000 (Subject to applicants qualification and level of experience)
Holiday: 25.5 + Bank Holidays
Working Pattern: Full-time with hybrid working available (Maximum of 2 days from home)
