A prestigious and well-known accountancy brand is looking to recruit an experienced Audit Assistant Manager or Audit Manager to join its audit and assurance team in Derby.

The Role
As an Audit Assistant Manager / Audit Manager, you will work closely with senior management to deliver high-quality audit, assurance and business advisory services to a diverse portfolio of clients.
Key responsibilities will include:
Managing a portfolio of audit and assurance clients and acting as a key point of contact
Planning and completing audit assignments from initial planning through to completion
Leading audit fieldwork and ensuring assignments are delivered to a high standard, on time and within budget
Reviewing work and ensuring the overall quality of assignments
Building strong client relationships and providing value-adding advice
Working with colleagues to scope client requirements and deliver assignments effectively
Managing, supporting and developing junior team members
Setting objectives and contributing to performance reviews and staff development
Managing deadlines, budgets and project requirements
