TPF Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a well established and growing accountancy practice in Swanley who are looking to appoint an Audit & Accounts Semi Senior to join their team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced practice professional looking to take the next step in their career. You will work with a varied portfolio of clients, gaining exposure across accounts, audit, tax and management accounts, whilst receiving ongoing support and development.
The Role
As an Audit & Accounts Semi Senior, you will be responsible for a varied range of work, including:
Preparing statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
Preparing management accounts using Xero, Sage and other accounting software
Completing corporation tax computations and returns
Supporting audit assignments where required
Liaising directly with clients and responding to queries
Ensuring work is completed accurately and within agreed deadlines
Coaching, leading and developing a team of trainees
RequirementsAbout You
The successful candidate will have experience working within an accountancy practice and a good understanding of accounts, audit and corporation tax.
You will ideally have:
AAT qualification and be studying towards ACA or ACCA
At least 3 years' experience within accountancy and audit
Experience preparing statutory and management accounts
Corporation tax experience
Experience using accountancy software such as Xero, Sage, Iris, Digita or My Work Papers
Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
The ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Good communication and client relationship skills
Experience with specific software is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided.
