Description:

AV Provisioning Engineer
Luton Area | Up to £40,000 + benefits

We’re working with a leading AV and collaboration technology business to recruit an AV Provisioning Engineer for their growing technical team in the Luton area.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with technology, solving problems and making sure systems are configured properly before they go live. You’ll be part of a team delivering modern meeting room and collaboration solutions, with the chance to build your skills in a fast-moving and supportive environment.

About the role

You’ll be responsible for preparing, configuring and testing a range of audio visual and collaboration systems, including Microsoft Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms and other UC room solutions. The role will involve working with a variety of devices such as cameras, microphones, soundbars, room controllers and displays, alongside network and device setup including IP addressing, device naming, configuration loading and firmware updates.

A key part of the role is maintaining accurate documentation, supporting commissioning activities and helping to ensure every system is ready for smooth handover. You’ll also work closely with colleagues across installation, programming, design and project management to support successful project delivery.

The role is mainly based in-house, with occasional customer site visits when required.

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone with a strong interest in AV, IT and networking who enjoys working in a methodical, detail-focused way. You’ll need a good working knowledge of PC hardware and general IT principles, along with a basic understanding of networking concepts such as IP addressing and DHCP.

The ideal candidate will be keen to learn, comfortable working both independently and as part of a team, and able to communicate clearly with colleagues and customers when needed. A full UK driving licence is required for occasional site visits.

This role will suit someone who:

*

Enjoys technical setup, configuration and testing.

*

Has an interest in collaboration systems and AV technologies.

*

Likes solving problems and working accurately.

*

Wants to develop a long-term career in AV.

This role may not suit someone looking for a purely installation-based, field-heavy or customer-facing position, or someone who prefers a job with little technical configuration or testing.

What’s on offer

*

Salary up to £40,000.

*

Competitive benefits package.

*

Stakeholder pension scheme.

*

Training and professional development.

*

Career progression opportunities within AV.

*

Supportive team environment with access to the latest AV technologies.

Applicants must be eligible to work in the UK or hold a valid UK permit, as sponsorship is not available.

If you’re looking for a role where you can build your technical expertise, work with the latest collaboration technology and grow your career in AV, this could be the perfect next step
