We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Attendance Officer in Haringey, starting immediately.
This is an excellent opportunity for a confident and organised school attendance professional who has previous experience working in a similar role and is proficient in using SIMS.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor and maintain accurate student attendance records.
Identify and follow up on student absences, lateness and patterns of poor attendance.
Contact parents and carers regarding unexplained absences and attendance concerns.
Update and maintain attendance information using SIMS.
Produce attendance reports and support the school in improving overall attendance and punctuality.
Work closely with pastoral staff, senior leaders and other relevant colleagues to address attendance issues.
Ensure attendance procedures and safeguarding protocols are followed.Essential Requirements
Previous experience working as an Attendance Officer within a school setting.
Confident and competent in using SIMS.
Strong organisational and administrative skills, with excellent attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
The ability to work independently and manage a busy workload.
A proactive, professional and flexible approach.Working Hours
Monday to Thursday: 8:00am - 4:15pm
Friday: 8:00am - 4:00pm
