Attendance Officer
Location: Newham
Start date: ASAP Start
Pay: £15-£18 per hour
A fantastic Secondary School in Newham is seeking a full-time Attendance Officer for a full time role. The position will be a long-term role until the end of the academic year, with the possibility of becoming permanent for the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
Maintaining attendance records for all students
Communicating with parents and guardians regarding student attendance and absence
Assisting with the administration for school trips and other events
Collaborating with academic staff and other members of the support team to promote good attendance and punctuality
Requirements:
At least 6 months experience working in a school administration role
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Strong SIMS knowledge
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience with database management and record keeping
Familiarity with the requirements of the school setting and education sector
