Location: Leeds
Salary: £45,000 per annum + Company Car
Working Hours: Monday to Friday
The Role
Our client is looking for an experienced, ATA-qualified Vehicle Damage Assessor to join their team based in Leeds. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional with a strong background in vehicle damage assessment and accident repair to join an established operation, with a competitive salary of £45,000 per annum and a company car included.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing vehicle damage, preparing accurate repair estimates and ensuring repairs are completed to the required standards, while maintaining a high level of customer service and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities

Carry out detailed vehicle damage assessments and identify the full extent of accident damage.

Prepare accurate repair estimates using relevant estimating systems.
*
Produce repair methods and costings in line with manufacturer guidelines and industry standards.
*
Liaise with insurance companies, repairers, engineers and other relevant parties.
*
Monitor repair progress and ensure work is completed to the required quality standards.
*
Identify additional damage and manage supplementary estimates where required.
*
Ensure all assessments and documentation are completed accurately and efficiently.
*
Maintain excellent communication with customers and colleagues throughout the repair process.
Requirements
*
ATA qualification in Vehicle Damage Assessment is essential.
*
Previous experience in a Vehicle Damage Assessor role within the automotive accident repair industry.
*
Strong knowledge of vehicle repair methods, repair costs and industry standards.
*
Experience using vehicle estimating systems.
*
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
*
Strong communication and customer service skills.
*
A full UK driving licence.
