Assurance Auditor - £50,000-£60,000 – 6 Month FTC – Civil Engineering – Birmingham
Are you looking to be part of one of the largest projects in Europe?
Principal People have partnered with a leading civil engineering construction company to recruit for an Assurance Auditor, initially on a 6 Month FTC, with the potential for extension or a permanent placement.
Covering sites within a 10-mile radius of their Birmingham office, the successful Assurance Auditor will be working as part of the quality team carrying out assurance audits on the organisation’s IMS systems, making recommendations for improvements, and submitting a report to the IMS and Audit Manager that this role reports to.
The successful Assurance Auditor will be responsible for:
Performing audits on the processes and procedures of the IMS and the supply chain across multiple sites.
Following the audit program set by the IMS and Audit Manager which is created on a risk based approach.
Produce reports based on the audits and monitor the performance of the IMS.
Provide advice on where improvements can be made to the IMS as part of the outputs of the audit.
Closing out findings from the audits and how well the improvements are performing. The successful Assurance Auditor will have:
A lead auditor qualification for ISO 9 and 45001 additionally is preferable)
Experience working within the construction industry or similar.
Good communication skills across all levels within an organisation.
The ability to make recommendations for continuous improvements to an organisation's IMS post-audit. If you are interested, please apply today
