Are you an Associate Structural Engineer wanting to move to a global engineering firm who are leaders in dynamic and exciting structural projects? These include Education, Commercial, Residential, Airports, Defence, Energy, Civil Infrastructure, and Rail.
Our client is recruiting for an Associate Structural Engineer with experience at senior level and strong business development skills. The role will be based in their London office, which has a thriving team who exceed expectations and are driven to exceed expectations.
You will be tasked with the delivery of design projects from concept to detailed design and completion of construction, taking responsibility for the technical direction of our Client's projects. Credibility, competence and technical excellence are important in the successful candidate as the role requires close working with our internal and external clients, decision makers, industry stakeholders and other consultants.
You will be required to demonstrate your thorough understanding of the local market within London to focus the business and take full advantage of market conditions. You would be responsible for identifying opportunities, lead and support business development and work winning / bidding activities. You will be a main point of contact to review the teams calculations, drawings, specifications on projects. You would be developing the structural engineering team, both in skills and personnel.
The successful candidate will be a degree-qualified Chartered Civil / Structural Engineer with extensive post graduate experience in major structural engineering building projects, including experience of producing low embodied carbon solutions. Your design experience will include steel, reinforced concrete, masonry and timber designs, along with foundation design and structural analysis.
