Associate Structural Engineer

£50k - £58k plus benefits
Our client is an award-winning property consultancy delivering high profile services to a range of public and private sector clients . They are looking for an Associate Structural Engineer to join their team and are offering excellent company benefits and very competitive salary for the right person.
The role:
Completing planned work programmes and projects to timeframes and with budget.
Managing client needs and ensure that projects are delivered to client satisfaction.
Assisting the relevant director in managing engineering resources across the Structural Engineering team.
Leading major projects ensuring that they are delivered to the specification.
Preparing designs, calculations, specifications, drawing and carrying out risk assessments for improvement, refurbishment and new building schemes, tendering documents and supervising works to completion, including agreeing interim and final accounts.
Responding to emergency requests for action or advice regarding dangerous buildings. Attending and advising on incidents.
About you:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a structural engineering related discipline
Professional membership of the Institute of Structural Engineers and be working or prepared to work towards Chartered status
Holds a current site card or is prepared to immediately attain
Conversant with Health and Safety legislation.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and AutoCAD
Familiar with relevant construction, health and safety legislation and risks and hazards associated with asbestos
You will be provided access to a number of specialist design tools (including CAD, Revit, Robot & Tekla) to ensure projects are delivered to specification, with your existing knowledge of these or equivalent being essential.
