Associate Scientist

Description:

Talentmark are recruiting for an Associate Scientist to join a company in the medical devices industry on a contract basis for 12 months. This role is fully site-based in Motherwell. 
 
Salary:
From £14.30 per hour to £16.86 per hour PAYE
 
Associate Scientist Role:

Conduct and plan small-scale experiments independently.
Assist in the design and development of complex experiments and multiple diagnostic assays.
Analyse experimental data and deliver clear technical conclusions, summaries, and recommendations.
Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment.
Proactively identify errors or out-of-trend results, suggesting inventive solutions and continuous improvements to protocols and test methods.
Present summaries of work at team meetings and to cross-functional groups.Your Background:

Hold a relevant degree in a scientific subject.
Working knowledge of GLP/GDP standards, Design Control, Health & Safety, biosafety protocols, COSHH, and risk management compliance.
You are a methodical, detail-oriented, and curious scientist who excels in laboratory execution and thrives in collaborative team settings.
You have exceptional attention to detail, strong numeracy skills, and a proactive approach.
Strong communication skills with a track record of effectively presenting scientific data to peers and cross-functional teams.Company:
