Manage projects, ensuring delivery against agreed budgets, programmes, scopes and quality standards.
Establish client briefs, define technical requirements and agree project deliverables.
Build and maintain strong client relationships, helping generate repeat business and identify new opportunities.
Contribute to business development activities, fee proposals and client presentations.
Manage project resources, monitor financial performance and oversee design variations.
Review and approve technical designs, specifications, calculations and reports.
Coordinate with internal engineering disciplines, external consultants, contractors and specialist suppliers.
Oversee CAD and Revit production to ensure accurate and coordinated design information.
Undertake site inspections, construction monitoring, snagging and witnessing of testing and commissioning.
Provide technical guidance, mentoring and support to junior engineers.
Support the development of team capabilities, technical standards and quality assurance procedures.
Ensure designs comply with relevant legislation, Building Regulations, industry standards and CDM requirements.
Provide mechanical engineering input to sustainability-related projects and assessments, including BREEAM, WELL and NABERS where required.

To be considered, you will ideally have:

A degree in Building Services Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
Strong technical knowledge of mechanical building-services design and project delivery.
