Are you an experienced Electrical Engineer ready to take the next step in your career with a leading multidisciplinary engineering consultancy?

Our client is a highly respected engineering and design consultancy delivering innovative infrastructure solutions across the UK and internationally. Due to continued growth within their Water and Industrial Infrastructure team, they are looking to appoint an Associate Director Electrical Engineer to provide technical leadership on major multidisciplinary projects and play a key role in the continued growth of their engineering capability.

The Role

Working within a collaborative multidisciplinary team, you will lead the delivery of electrical and ICA design solutions across a diverse portfolio of complex infrastructure projects.

You'll take ownership of technical delivery, managing engineering teams through all stages of the project lifecycle while ensuring designs meet relevant industry standards, client requirements, quality expectations, and programme milestones.

Alongside project delivery, you'll provide technical leadership, mentor senior engineers, contribute to business development activities, and support the continued growth of the electrical engineering team.

What You'll Bring

Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Chartered Engineer status (CEng) or equivalent professional accreditation.
Extensive experience leading Electrical and ICA engineering design teams within a consultancy or multidisciplinary engineering environment.
Strong technical knowledge of electrical engineering design for industrial and process environments.
Experience delivering multidisciplinary infrastructure projects from concept through to construction support.
Ability to lead technical design reviews and oversee the production of key deliverables including Single Line Diagrams, Load Schedules, MCC Specifications, Control Philosophies, and Control Network Architecture.
Strong understanding of industry standards and engineering best practice, including HAZOP assessments, earthing and bonding, lightning protection, lighting design, and hazardous area installations (DSEAR and ATEX).
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience mentoring and developing engineers while supporting the growth of technical teams.
Water industry experience is desirable but not essential; candidates with experience in industrial or process engineering environments are encouraged to apply.
