A respected multidisciplinary construction consultancy is looking to appoint an Associate Director to join its growing team. This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Associate Director or an ambitious Senior Project Manager ready to step into an Associate Director position. The successful Associate Director will lead the delivery of major projects across the residential, commercial, mixed-use, heritage and student accommodation sectors while playing a key role in developing client relationships and supporting the continued growth of the business.

As an Associate Director, you will combine hands-on project leadership with strategic client management and team development. This Associate Director role offers the opportunity to influence business growth, mentor project teams and work closely with senior leadership on winning new work. You must have prior construction consultancy experience to be considered for this role.

The Associate Director - Project Management's role

The Associate Director - Project Management will lead the successful delivery of complex construction projects from inception through to completion, ensuring clients receive an exceptional level of service throughout every stage of the project lifecycle.

Alongside leading major residential, commercial, mixed-use, heritage and student accommodation projects, the Associate Director - Project Management will develop and grow key client accounts, identify opportunities for repeat business and support the preparation of bids and tender submissions. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams, providing leadership, mentoring Project Managers and Senior Project Managers while helping shape the future growth of the office.

The Associate Director - Project Management will also contribute to recruitment, resource planning and business strategy, ensuring the team continues to deliver high-quality project management services across an expanding portfolio.

The Associate Director - Project Management

The successful Associate Director - Project Management will have:

Extensive project management experience within a construction consultancy.
A proven track record delivering large-scale residential, commercial, mixed-use, heritage or student accommodation projects.
A degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or another construction-related discipline.
Chartered status through RICS, APM or CIOB, or the experience to operate at Associate Director level.
Strong client relationship and stakeholder management skills.
Experience leading multidisciplinary project teams.
A successful background in business development, growing client accounts or securing repeat business.
