Description:

A world renowned multi-disciplinary are looking for a Chartered Highways Engineer in Central London to take the role of Associate Director and lead the London highways team in delivering projects across the UK. You will take leadership of 6 engineers and report directly to the National Civil Director and be pivotal in the further growth and development of the team.

As an associate director in this highways team, you will be expected to manage the team, technically oversee the output, be involved in fee proposals, recruitment and delivery to the end client.

In order to be successful in your application you must be Chartered with the ICE or CIHT and have significant team leadership experience. You must also be confident when delivering projects and making decisions.

Associate Director Key Responsibilities

Technical Civil Engineering Expertise in Highways, Infrastructure and Urban Regeneration Masterplanning projects.
Coordination and development of multidisciplinary teams towards the achievement of KPIs.
Operational Management: development and implementation of business systems to optimise cost effectiveness.
Project / programme management: end to end delivery of business solutions and process improvements.
Financial management: costing (material and operational), valuation, price list production, and forecasting.
Resource Management: leading the Infrastructure and Building Drainage teams across the Civil Engineering project portfolio.
Development and implementation of solutions; tailored to the bespoke requirements of the client / project.
Business Development and Work Winning for multi-disciplined projects.
Effective engagement and negotiation with both internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
Associate Director Requirements

Chartered with the ICE or CIHT.
Substantial team leadership experience.
Highways Geometric Design - DMRB
Infrastructure and Public Realm
Drainage and SuDs
Earthworks
Utilities - Spacial Planning
Utilities Diversions
Planning Approvals
Technical Approvals
