An exciting opportunity is available for a Chartered Associate / Director-level Civil Engineer to join an ambitious and growing consultancy in York or Leeds.
This is more than a project delivery role. You’ll have the opportunity to lead, influence and help shape the continued growth of the civil engineering team, while working with a varied portfolio of projects and clients.
What you’ll be doing

Lead the delivery of civil engineering projects from concept to completion
*
Provide technical leadership across highways, drainage and infrastructure
*
Develop and manage key client relationships
*
Lead, mentor and develop engineering teams
*
Support tenders, fee proposals and business development
*
Oversee project budgets, programmes and technical delivery
*
Attend client and project meetings
*
Identify opportunities to grow the team and project portfolio
What we’re looking for

Chartered Civil Engineer – essential
*
Associate, Associate Director or Director-level experience
*
Strong UK consultancy background
*
Extensive experience across civil engineering design and project delivery
*
Strong knowledge of highways, drainage and infrastructure
*
Commercially aware with business development experience
*
Excellent client-facing and communication skills
*
Proven leadership and team management experience
