About The Role
Team – Member Active Engagement Journey- IT
Working Pattern - Hybrid – 2 days per week in the Vitality Bournemouth Office. Full time, 35 hours per week

What this role is all about:
This is a brand new role opening up as part of our Customer Journey empire. This role will have scope for progression as well as endless opportunities as a Vitality Employee.
The Associate Business Architect will assist their allocated Journey with initiative design from a business perspective using a repeatable approach, cohesive framework, and available industry standard techniques.  Working closely with Business Analysis and It Teams to identify Business Architecture building blocks.
You will learn and develop in providing business architecture and analysis documentation, assuring adherence to IT Governance and Standards.
Key Actions

Document the business architecture using appropriate models (value streams, capability and target operating models, business glossaries and domain models etc)
Assess the scope and impact of initiatives on the business architecture (including structure, process and systems)
Ensure all business architecture document is continuously maintained and kept up to date for your journey
Act as the business architecture SME for the enterprise journey, working with senior stakeholders, peers, and engineering teams
Collaborate with other architecture disciplines (solution architect, data architecture etc.) and input into their design work
Actively participate in governance forums, design authorities, working groups, and communities of practiceEssential Skills needed to fulfil this role:

Exposure in working in a business analysis or architecture discipline, or willing to break into IT Architecture 
Demonstrable expertise in business modelling techniques such as BPMN, UML or data/domain mapping
Assured communicator - able to present complex technical issues in a clear manner to technical and non-technical audiences
Experience of Agile Methodology
You will work on your own initiative and collaborate effectively across the organization
