An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Associate Architect specialising in Retrofit to join the Technical Delivery team in a London Architects studio.
The practice delivers expertise across a broad range of sectors, providing services throughout the full lifecycle of buildings and developments. As the demand for retrofit, remediation and sustainable building solutions continues to grow, this role offers the opportunity to lead the technical delivery of complex projects that maximise the potential of existing buildings.
The successful candidate will be an experienced project leader, responsible for managing the technical delivery of retrofit schemes while working closely with clients, consultants and contractors. They will also play an important role in mentoring junior team members, fostering technical excellence and contributing to a collaborative, high-performing team culture.
The successful candidate will have:
* Extensive experience delivering retrofit and refurbishment projects through the technical design stages.
* Demonstrable expertise in construction detailing for existing buildings.
* Proven experience preparing external façade and cladding packages, particularly during **RIBA Stages 3 and 4**.
* A strong interest in remediation and the technical challenges associated with existing buildings.
* Sound working knowledge of Revit and BIM workflows.
* Excellent communication and client management skills, with the ability to lead multidisciplinary project teams.
* A collaborative approach and a passion for supporting and developing colleagues.
