We are currently looking for an Assistant Yard Manager for our client based in Northfleet / Borstal
This is a full-time role paying £30 to £35k per annum depending on experience. A yearly salary increase for the first 5 years and a performance bonus is offered.
This is a Monday to Friday role working on day shift.
Duties
* Oversee and coordinate the colleagues on Shift
* Manage Yard Operations
* Report to the Yard Manager
* Ensure targets are met.
* Monitor staff performance.
* Maintain the H&S levels on site.
* Liaise with other departments of the business.
The ideal candidate will have:
* Strong leadership and management skills
* Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
* Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure.
* FLT Counterbalance licence would be an advantage but not a must.
