Assistant Warehouse Manager
Modern Food Manufacturing
West London
Are you looking to take your food warehousing experience to the next level?
In this role you’ll need to bring your innovative ways of thinking, your collaborative attitude and passion of HSE to assist the Warehouse Manager in maintaining efficient and smooth operations.
* Hours – 5 days a week, your choice of the 5 days you work.
* Salary – DOE - £40,000.00 to £45,000.00 + generous benefits package

A well established and innovative food manufacturer who are renowned for their quality and tasty product selection. They supply all the UK’s major retailers and restaurant chains.
The Role
You will re reporting directly to the Warehouse Manager and responsible for the effective operation of the warehouse. Your duties are varied and will include.
* Oversee the receipt, storage and distribution of raw materials & finished products.
* Inventory management, Order fulfilment, Shipping & Receiving, Quality Assurance, Safety & Compliance, Continuous Improvement and Team Management.
* Project work such as streamlining the picking & packing process.
* Use their WMS (Navision) to monitor traceability and accurately maintain data.
Your Skills & Experience
To be considered for this opportunity you will need.
* Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or relevant field
* Previous experience in multi-temperature food storage and warehousing
* Good understanding of HACCP & CCP, Code of Practice and BRC Standards
* Team leadership & supervision experience
* Knowledge of food safety regulations
