Job Title: Assistant Town Planner

My client is a leading housebuilders being one of the biggest in the UK who are looking to fill the role of an Assistant Town Planner to their team.
My client works on a varied range of planning applications for strategic sites from small scale right through to large scale projects.
The successful candidate will be working on the
Assessing land development opportunities
Providing advice internally on planning matters
Preparing and submitting planning applications
Attending meetings with all relevant parties during the planning process
Dealing with ongoing planning matters and submitting information to clear planning conditionsI'm looking to speak with candidates who have the
Degree/Masters Planning or Real Estate Degree with RTPI or RICS accreditation and a rounded knowledge of planning
Strong interpersonal and all round excellent communication skills
Proactive and willingness to take the lead on own initiative and under minimal supervision
